I have discovered a wonderful button on the library website that sends librarians out to scour the local library system and bring books back to me! Of course, after a giddy hour, I now have a stack about a foot high of books that must be read within the next couple weeks, on top of Wise Man’s Fear.
Oh well. At least, since I have a business trip next week, I won’t be bringing Wise Man’s Fear along. One or two of the newcomers are skinny, and they fit well in backpacks. WMF only fits well in a backpack if the rest of the backpack is empty, or possibly full of cushioning down.
