Regardless of your feelings about the Game of Thrones novels – and mine are complicated – the promotional videos that have been surfacing for the new HBO series deserve a look. If you only have time for one, check out Peter Dinklage’s performance as Tyrion Lannister, one of the book’s most complex characters; it’s a wonder to see a great actor bring him to life. I’d love to see what HBO might do as a followup to this: The Lymond Chronicles on cable, perhaps?
